Windows 10: How to set up icloud using windows outlook, with error message Attention Required?

People App account "Attention Required" for iCloud account

I added my iCloud contacts to People and the setup never ended so I had to stop it. Now I have the attention required note on my iCloud account in People settings.

If I click on it to try and edit the account settings I get the error message below. The connection and iCloud account are fine since I have iCloud drive configured and it is working.

Any ideas?

I did not make any changes, I don't have a proxy setting, and yes my connection to iCloud is working - just cannot fix the "Attention Required" warning. By the way the error code is not 0x08024402c.

 

Cant access iCloud Calendar - msg "attention required"

I can't set up iCloud calendar in Windows 10 Calendar app. It keeps saying Attention Required. I then re-enter username and password (both correct) but does not fix the problem. Have turned off two factor authentication in iCloud account but does not
fix problem.

Help!
