Windows 10: How to set up pin from the lock screen

Trying to log in, but says I have to set up a PIN. Problem is I am not connected to the internet. I try to but there's only Airplane mode showing up. No option for wifi, Bluetooth, etc, just Airplane mode.How do you set up PIN when it doesn't even allow me to

Setting a pin for lock screen

Is it me or is the option to assign a pin to unlock phone gone. Under lock screen there is an option to add a pin to sign into apps instead of passwords, but none to set a pin for the lock screen. Id hate to lose my phone and have somebody being able to
access my phone.

 

Lock screen automatically with password

To have a better view on this concern, are you referring with Lock Screen timeout? If so, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Click on Start menu.
• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Under Sign-in options, click on Lock screen.
• Go to Screen timeout settings.
• Change the value under Screen.

Also, no need to create a pin code since you already have your Microsoft account password. You can sign in using your account.

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.
