    How to set up separate accounts under the 365 family plan


    So recently, I decided to migrate us from everything Google to Microsoft 365 and MS OneCloud. In doing so, I set up a family plan though it is just me and my wife.


    As the family "IT" guy, I necessarily set up our joint account as administrator. Our computers are Window 10 and our laptops are android devices. My problem is that now my picture and login stuff shows up on both devices including her laptop and tablet. She is a bit annoyed as she would like to have her own picture and login.


    I am having no luck making this happen and cannot find the right tutorial or FAQ to do this. Please help me.

    setting up user accounts

    Not able to set up a separate user account for my wife...following the steps as outlined in settings for setting up family - but get "we couldn't connect to Microsoft family right now, so your family on this device might not be up to date". I am logged
    in to my Microsoft account as it suggests. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

    How to delete an adult account in the Family Settings.

    Hi,

    To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • As an adult in the family account, sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • Under Your family, click
      Remove      .
    • Click the child account you want to remove, and click Remove.
    • You will get an email confirmation once the child has been removed from the family.
    Note: If you removed a Child account, it will be tagged as an "Orphaned account" and you will need to attach another "Parent account".

    How do I remove a connected Microsoft 365 family account from my computer? I am not the administrator. The administrator profile has a separate profile on my computer but the documents and information are mine. In "Locate my computer", the administrator's
    computer is seen in two places, one at the administrator workplace and the other at my house. The administrator computer has become my computer. I have my own profile since I separated from the Microsoft 365 family account. I cannot change settings or connect
    my personal account because my computer appears to belong to the administrator computer. I need help. I've tried everything that I know of.
