1. How to set up separate user account for Microsoft work?

I am trying to set up a sperate login account on my PC for my work email along with files and apps associated with the company.

I have connected my work email to my personal account in Accounts > Access Work of School Account, and I have my account set up under Emails and accounts > Account used by other apps, but when I try to add my account as Family & other users > Other users, I type in my work email address and this error message pops up:

"It looks like this isn't a Microsoft account. Try another email address or sign up for a new one."

I am very confused on how to do this, I want to create a separate login account on my personal PC to access my work account, but I can't find a step by step guide? Will I need to contact my work place to set up the account at home?

:)

setting up user accounts

Not able to set up a separate user account for my wife...following the steps as outlined in settings for setting up family - but get "we couldn't connect to Microsoft family right now, so your family on this device might not be up to date". I am logged
in to my Microsoft account as it suggests. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

3. Microsoft account set as a work account and a Microsoft Account

Hi Dean,

As per the description, I suggest that you sign out of one of the accounts and sign into the account again. This will help us to know if the account used in either of the account is not the same.

To sign-out of the Microsoft Account follow the steps below

• Sign in to your Microsoft account on Windows 10.
• Click Start and then PC settings.
• Click Users and accounts and under Your Profile click Disconnect on the right of the screen.
• Enter your Microsoft account's password, and click on Next.
• Type in a Username, Password, and Password Hint that you want set for your Local account and click
Next. Click on Sign out and Finish button.

Your reply is very important to ensure a proper resolution. Please get back to us with the above information to assist you accordingly.
