Windows 10: How to settle pop-out chrome launcher this application failed to start because no qt...

This pop-up suddenly and I had no idea what going on and how to handle it. I've tried many solutions using ways from google,youtube even chatgpt but nothing worked, save me please, it was annoying.

smass.exe, chrome pop ups

I've got some kind of malware on my computer that AVG, Windows Defender and Avast have all failed to detect and remove. Symptoms are some kind of trojan loader called smass.exe running in my processes. Unwanted pop up tabs in Chrome and Edge, 1-800 number
hijacker pop ups and attempting to load the daybreak launcher to play DC Universe online Google Chrome opens and starts loading a bazillion tabs and won't quit until the launcher is terminated. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!

 

Windows Shell launcher failing to start application after update

Good afternoon all,

I have an application that is launched by the Windows shell launcher (V1), this is been loading for well over a year on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC version 21H2.
Recently machines have been updated to OS Build 19044.3208, since that date our application has failed to be started by the Shell launcher, neither V1 or V2.

I have changed the Shell launcher to start CMD which starts as expected, so Im sure the Shell launcher configuration itself is still ok. I have not been able to track down any log entries in Event viewer to help. The application is signed with an EV code and is passing verification in signtool.exe.

Where else in the system can I look for logs/information as to why the application is not loading?

Start Menu Launcher Not Working: white box instead of app list

As of this morning, the launcher my start menu has stopped working properly. Normally, I launch all of my applications by hitting the windows key and typing out the name of what I want until it appears in the launcher. Now, my start menu looks fine when I first hit the windows key or click the windows logo to bring it up. However, this is what I get when I begin to type the name of an application:





Googling variations of the title I used in this post was not fruitful - I found nobody who had a similar problem so far. Restarting the computer does not fix the issue. Any tips on the appropriate steps to diagnose or fix this are much appreciated.
