Windows 10: how to setup 2nd monitor win 11 - different scales

I have a laptop 15 inch screen and 2nd monitor is samsung 24 inch screen. everytime I try to adjust the size of the screen zoom in or out on the monitor it do the same on the laptop screen and vice versa. I cannot control the scale separtely.I tried many solutions but nothing seem to work. otherwise they both work fine.

Blurry 2nd Monitor when using different DPI scaling


My main monitor is 2560x1440 and my 2nd monitor is 1920x1080. When I set both to 100% or 125% scaling they both look fine. If I set my main monitor to 125% and my 2nd monitor to 100% the 2nd monitor is blurry.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks for the reply. However that does not work if you choose custom scaling. The custom scaling will apply to all monitors. Only the preset options of (100,125, 150, 175, 200, 225) work correctly per monitor. I've been doing some research and it seems to be an issue for many people.

It even says this in the Advanced scaling settings. I was hoping for some kind of workaround.
