Windows 10: How to setup LOCAL password when the computer is using biometric authentication?

I setup my Windows 11 laptop using my biometrics, I want to be able to connect remotely to it, but I do not have a password. I do not know how to setup the LOCAL password.Thank you!

Windows Logon: 2-Factor Biometric Authentication

I have done some reading that Windows10 will incorporate 2-factor authentication.

I was wondering for Windows Logon, does Windows10 support password AND biometric (e.g. fingerprint) authentication? If so, can you provide any feedback on exactly how this is implemented?

Forgot Local Password

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and reset the password for the local account and check.

• 
  Login in to your Microsoft account.
  
• 
  Press Windows logo key + X key.
  
• 
  Select Computer Management.
  
• 
  Click on Local user and group.
  
• 
  In the right window pane, double click on user’s folder.
  
• 
  Right click on local user account and select set password and follow the on screen instructions.

Web Authentication

The OP also talks about his smartphone, so it's in context for that. It also applies to web authentication too though as apps can use a smartphone's biometric features for authentication too.
