Windows 10: How to setup TWO work accounts on one Windows 11 Pro machine

We are a small business and have Microsoft 365 Business Professional through GoDaddy. I am the sort of IT admin. How can I setup a Windows 11 Pro machine with TWO 2 work accounts, each tied to one login when Windows boots up? I can setup the machine with one work account, but no matter how I try to setup the second account through the Users options in settings, I cannot get it to work. The first account is added as AzureAD\username. I can add multiple accounts from Accounts > Other Users > work or school users > Add account. **BUT** none of these other accounts show up as indepen

I followed your suggested steps but the same thing still happens when I complete the out of the box experience setup.

By the way, the only reason the device was even in the device list was because (as a troubleshooting step) I tried creating a local account and then connecting to my work account to verify that the windows install was working properly. So I'm not surprised I still got the same result

thanks, this workaround worked for me. For completeness, I was not given option to select personal use on the laptop (was asked to join the machine in domain or to select work/ school account and my personal account was causing error) I purchased which came with windows 11 Pro. Disabling the network adapter per the instructions from DillonBurke, allowed me to create a local account and to complete the setup.

Hi there.

I purchased a Windows 10 Pro license from Microsoft online back in 2015. I was e-mailed a license key which I still have. I've been using this license on a Parallels virtual machine on my Mac. I will soon decommission this virtual machine and I will be purchasing a new Windows PC with Windows 11 Home installed on it.

I plan to do a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro on my new machine and I was hoping to use my existing Windows 10 Pro license to activate it. From reading the forum it seems this should work. Any suggestions on steps I should follow? I see talk of people activating with a generic license key and relying on your Microsoft account to recognise you have a digital product key?
