Windows 10: How to show taskbar badges in windows 7, just like windows 10/11?

Hello.I've ever wondered, is it possible to show taskbar badges to show something like counts of unread messages in Windows 7, just like Windows 10/11?Although Windows 7 is no longer supported since I ask this question, but I'm just curious.Kind regards,A Windows user

Correct, but if option two below was used in Windows 11, it will still gray out the Show badges on taskbar apps setting.

As a test, use option two below to set the default large icons to see if the Show badges on taskbar apps setting will no longer be grayed out afterwards.
