Windows 10: How to Show Top Menu Bar in WIN11

I just upgraded to Windows 11 and the top menu bar is not showing in any of my programs or even in File Explorer. I used to have an option to "Always Show Menus" in Win 10 but I do not see it in WIN 11.I've searched for solutions and tried not hiding the taskbar but that did not bring back the top menu bars.Obviously this is a huge problem - please advise how to fix this ASAP!

Show Menu Bar in Edge

I went thru the steps to import the Menu Bar from IE into Edge.

The menu bar does NOT show in Edge. What am I doing wrong?

Add a button to the address bar.

I would like to add the Zoom button to my new Edge address bar. Have found the following how to do it on the web but they don't work like the instructions say.

To customize the buttons that appear next to the address bar, use these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the Settings and more menu button on the top-right corner. (I assume that is the three dots in a row)
3. Select the Show in toolbar sub-menu. (Don't see 'Show in toobar)
4. Click the action button that you want to add or remove from the toolbar.
