Windows 10: How to shut down and update a Windows 11 laptop without getting into a boot loop?

Recently I gotten into a boot loop and a a couple of minutes ago, I had resolved the issue using System Restore. However, whenever I try to shut down, restart, or update my laptop, the boot loop happens again. Is there any way to fix this?

Windows 11 Boot Loop and startup repair fail

I have HP ENVY 14 laptop. Its been 2 week since i have upgraded to windows 11. On 21 Nov 2021, i got an update. i downloaded and installed the updates. but as soon as the laptop restarted, it get stuck in boot loop. The laptop starts then says please wait for the software to update. Then again shutdown and boots again. This keeps repeating. I tried Startup repair but it failed. I tried to uninstall the update and also tried to downgrade to windows 10, but that also failed because it could not find the file. I have reset the laptop with personal documents to be saved, but the problem continues. When i press continue to windows 11, it finally let me signed in. But now the boot loop starts again when ever i try to restart my laptop. The Problem does not occur when i shut down the laptop.

Problem with windows 11 update boot loop

I’ve had this issue for a few months now. Whenever I try to update windows 11 I will get sent into a boot loop/update loop, the update will always fail and I cannot get back into windows, if I try to use a restore point it will complete successfully but windows will try updating again and put me back into this loop I’ve tried using sfc and a few other commands, safe mode, continuing into windows, etc.. The only way to get back is to reset my pc and keep files but the problem is I still have to redownload all my apps/programs. please help

 

Laptop in boot loop and no display

When I tried to start my laptop this morning I heard a very quiet beep and it ran for maybe a couple of seconds and shut off. After that it entered a boot loop with constant shutting off and restarting. I tried unplugging the power chord and removing the battery, trying to force a hard restart. I also checked wether if there was a problem with the display using a monitor and an hdmi cable. I did not see any display and the screen is always off in the boot loops. If you have any idea what the problem could be I would greatly appreciate it.

Note: It’s an hp pavilion 15 running the latest windows 10 update
