    How to shut off windows updates


    I have asked this question hundreds of times, with no solution.So, I have disabled windows update services, even removed WSUS to break windows updates. Windows continues to update.I don't think Microsoft understand how crippling windows updates makes machines. I bought an nice new computer, and I cannot use it every morning. It takes 1/2 hour to do its updates.This is even worse in a production environment. Having hundreds of machines, and people waiting to use them, is rather painful and seriously expensive to have employees watching screen spins.From trying WSUS to manage updates Local
