Windows 10: How to sign in only on startup?

Hello,I'm going crazy trying to find an answer to a very very simple question. I'll try to be as clear as possible in my request :I'm on windows 11. I have that problem on a vanilla installation, so the problem is probably a "feature" of windows 11. It is about login in and microsoft account.When I start my computer or wake up from sleep, there is a login screen where I must type my password. This is OK.Then I must do it again on any microsoft app because i'm not logged in anymore. Startup programs not launching on startup

Replying to Brink none of that works here is why- Step 1- No items listed in startup on task manager as stated. Step 2- I dont have shell:Startup on the pc as it cannot be located Step 3- I dont understand that option also the startup folder cannot be found Step 4- No apps showing under startup on settings Step 5- Dont have access to advanced options at all for any apps Step 6- Doesn't work. Thanks for trying - - - Updated - - - @dalchina, Will try the program now and no I have no suitable restore points and also nothing that I am aware of has been updated besides for Windows Updates but nothing major. WIll respond once I try the program.

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
