Windows 10: How to sign into new Asus laptop to give consent through mircosoft

I am having challenges signing into my daughter laptop to give consent through Microsoft.The screen continues to be blank on her new laptop which is a asus model. Not sure what is going wrong here. I’ve created 2 accounts and the same thing continues toHappen.

My child cannot sign in to her new laptop

Hello.

I bought a new laptop to my child with Windows 10.
During the initial setup she was asked to create an MS account and so she did.

When setup completed, she tried to sign in and was asked for parental consent.

I tried to provide parental concent by sgning in with my MS account several times but I always get "Something's not working, Its not you its us" message.

I also tried the "I'm not a parent or guardian" option that sends an email to the parent (me) and then tried to provide consent on my own PC with same results.

The result is that the new laptop cannot be used :-(

For some reason the error dialog that admits that it's not my problem but Microsotf's doesn't have any suggestion about what to do or who to contact in order for it to be fixed.

What can I do?
