    Hi All,


    I have a problem with my desktop PC, it shut itself down yesterday and I haven't been able to restart it yet. When I came home it was in with a blue screen on automatic repair mode. The only thing I can see is this "Log file: E:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt".


    I look up some videos and articles on how to make it work but nothing yet. Tried to reset PC with the option of keeping documents and files but that didn't work.


    I would really appreciate any help in solving this issue without losing any data.

    E:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt error

    I was trying to install a program , but it said that windows is awaiting an update , so reboot first to install the updates

    Then when rebooting ,

    "Startup repair couldn't repair your pc" (After trying to diagnose and repair)

    Press "advanced options" to try other options to repair your PC or "shutdown" to turn off your pc.

    Log file: E:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

    (E: is not an HDD partition, don't know why its there)

    Is there a way to fix this error without deleting programs or resetting the pc ?

    If you followed the directions at the link I gave you, you should have download the Media Creation Tool. You need to run that which will then download the files necessary to create a bootable USB flash drive or create a ISO file. It is not in any way bootable.
