Windows 10: How to solve the problem of "This option is unavailable when trying to sign in with Facial...

I tried to use the windows ID feature but it was unavailable for me. I checked the optional files and saw that it was installed. What should i do?

Is there any way to fix these unavailable sign-in options like Facial Recognition, Fingerprint Recognition and PIN?

 

Sign in options unavailable?

I went into my sign-in options in settings and found that under facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, and pin it says "this option is currently unavailable." Underneath there is an exclamation mark with "something went wrong. Try again later." Also all the options to change my pin, add a fingerprint, etc. they are all greyed out. Pin and facial recognition still work. How do I fix this?

• Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?
• Is there an error message when you try to sign using facial recognition?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
