Windows 10: How to speed up wake from sleep on 2 year old laptop?

    How to speed up wake from sleep on 2 year old laptop?


    I turned on "fast start" but that made no difference - typical for Msft. It can take 30 seconds to a minute or 2 to wake up and then another 30 seconds or so to load/reconnect. It's 2024 and this is a $2000+ work laptop with 16gB memory-does Msft think that's ok?
