    How to speed up Windows 10 while using Chrome Browser


    Hey! I'm new here, and may be needing help soon-- so I'd like to share a remedy I use regularly.
    When Google Chrome is slowing down windows 10, it is fixable.

    Check your Task Manager > Performance and check out the disk graph: it shouldn't peak above the charts

    Opening a few pages
    Should look like this (after this process)

    To save the fate of your windows machine just follow these simple steps


    1: go to My Computer>C:/>Users>YOU
    ensure that you can see hidden files:

    2: Then go to AppData>Local>Google

    3: Right click and go to properties:
    Under general click [Advanced]
    and Disable "allow files in thie folder to have contents indexed..."

    4: Next edit Security Permissions

    5: Deny Full Control to SYSTEM
    BE SURE THIS IS THE GOOGLE FOLDER, NOT THE LOCAL FOLDER (Prevents many issues)

    Using Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 10

    OK -everyone tells me IE 11 is still available in Windows 10 including an app provider who is not up to speed yet for Edge. Nobody has explained how! So far I have to resort to Chrome but Edge is obviously my default browser when I click on something.
    Where are my Windows 10 defaults and can the default browser be changed.

    Bottom line should I just use Chrome until all my existing software has a compatible Edge version?

    My computer is slow to react to everything. Sometimes it takes three or more clicks to open a message in yahoo mail. Using Mozilla Firefox as a browser. Also use Internet Explorer too. Other browsers on my system are Edge, Chrome, Bing. Don't like
    Edge & not familiar with Chrome. How can I speed up slow computer for free?
