Windows 10: How to stack email icons on taskbar in Windows 10

Hello,
Just moved from w7 to 10. one thing i haven't found is how to get multiple windows for any open application on the task bar to stack, instead of appearing side by side. win 7 did it by default as far as I know.

I don't want this. Way too cumbersome to manage with many emails open at once

Windows 7 home premium upgrade to Windows 10

I'm running genuine Windows 7 home premium

but sadly my Windows 10 or in general the windows icon is not showing up on my taskbar but take in mind my PC hasn't been updated since. 2007 this is 20015 and I've been updating stacks and stacks of mile long udates to get it going

please if anyone knows how to fix this problem contact me or comment

 

Disable Taskbar Thumbnail Preview?

I do need to disable de Taskbar Thumbnail Preview in Windows 10. I Use a lot of files such an Msft Excel at the same time, and is difficult to to identify between so many little windows. I need the files listed (stacked) when switching icons on taskbar.

Hi, which email program are you using?

Somewhat related: If I have enough file explorer windows open I see

 

That would be outlook but it doesn't matter. behaviour is the same for excel, powrpoint, word,etc

 

I don''t have MS Office, but WPS Writer stacks instances vertically when I have 8 open...

so..



if you use this free tweaker (with explanation from link) you can set that limit.

(It's probably in one of the tutorials here too.. there are many).

Not sure if this applies.....but I think this is what "Task View" was replacing.
