Windows 10: How to start a Windows app using the Xbox controller?

Hello, I'm using Xbox controllers on a Windows 10 PC. I would like to start some apps using a button on the Xbox Controller, is there a way to do that?Some apps I'd like to launch: Kodi, PowerDVD, Steam, Epic games, and some of my fave games.Thanks

Windows 10 Apps not detecting Xbox one controller with usb wire

If you are still experiencing the same issue after performing the solutions provided, we suggest that you uninstall the Xbox App from the computer and install it back.

To uninstall the Xbox App, you can follow the steps below:

• Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
• Right-click and select Run as administrator.
• Type Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage, and then hit
  Enter.
• Launch Windows Store and install Xbox App again.

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc
