  1. How to stop a script that's running automatically on every startup. I'm unable to locate it.

Hello community, I'd be really glad if someone helped me out with this.Every time I turn on my computer, a PowerShell window pops up. Now the first time this happened, it happened within the blink of an eye, So i researched it a bit and found out that it was a virus as per bitdefender. So i deleted that folder from the location visible in that small window. Ever since i deleted that folder, this window pops up every time i start the computer. its a startup script and i am unable to find it anywhere. I checked for it in the following locations.1. run: shell:startup "C:\Users\rushi\AppData\Roa

    :)

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
