    How to stop Application Error 1000


    I can play the game fine for the first 30 minuets then it just crashes and goes back to my desktop. It only happens with microsoft store games. How do I stop this ?

    I am using Macrium Reflect 6.3 (paid) and backing up from a Samsung SSD to a brand new "dedicated" WD BLACK 1TB within my computer. Speeds are great, but I keep getting this ERROR. I tried MANY things, but ALL FAIL.
    Please HELP !!

    This, from Microsoft
    Angela Pun replied 9/13/17

    "We have an emerging issue in Microsoft Edge and we're currently working to permanently resolve it. For now, we'd like to share a workaround about recovering the said application. You can refer to the steps shared by Tiero Chi on this thread."

    The error listed in the initial post began with build .608 in 9/17. Judging by comments here, it is an O/S, not a PC-specific issue. As EDGE does function, the error seems benign, if annoying, and likely can be overlooked.
