Windows 10: How to stop beeping noise when I close my laptop lid

Hi, I have a dell inspiron 15 windows 11. When I close the lid it it makes a beeping noise but is fine as soon as I open it up. It makes the noise when it starts to sleep.

in Power Options, let's try to make hibernation unavailable. Follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Windows icon on your home screen.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Click Yes if you get a prompt window.
• Type powercfg.exe /hibernate off then press Enter.

See if this will prevent the laptop from hibernating when you close the lid.

Stop Beeps on Open/Close Folder

Hi, there are potentially sounds for opening/closing programs- I don't see an option for folders in the list..

 

my coolpad is making a loud noise

The coolpad has one or more fans attached to one or more motors. As already said the noise can come from something touching a fan or the motor bearings has damaged.

The fact that the noise stops when you close the lid is because the laptop enter on sleep mode and turn off the USB, shutting down the fans. As soon as you open the lid the laptop wakes up and turn the USB back on.
My suggestion is to replace the coolpad with a new one.
