    How to stop folders from being automatically created after restart


    I am trying to keep my PC organized. I have two drives C: and S:. C hold the OS and all program drives while S is dedicated to file storage. There are a few folders in S: that keep being automatically created every time the computer restarts, no matter how many times I delete them. These folders are completely empty. The folders are temp, Saved Pictures, and East Tune. Does anyone know how I can stop these folders from automatically populating my S drive on startup?

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    How to stop sharing folder for windows 10?

    Referring to following link, I would like to know on how to stop sharing folder for windows 10.

    I cannot find Stop Sharing option on step 5.

    Use these steps to stop sharing any folder on Windows 10:

    1. Open Start.
    2. Search for Computer Management and click the top result to open the experience.
    3. Expand the Shared Folders branch from the left pane.
    4. Click the Shares item.
    5. Right-click the folder that you no longer want to share and the Stop Sharing option.
    Furthermore, ADMIN$ is found to be Remote Admin under computer management.

    There is no option to stop it as well.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop sharing and remote?
