Windows 10: How to stop keyboard from waking laptop

I normally know how to stop the keyboard from waking the laptop by going into Device Manager / Keyboard / Power Management. But to my great surprise, there is no Power Management to be found under keyboard. If it was there, and I'm sure it was, it isn't now. This is an ASUS G740JW, so is anyone out there in Wonderland aware of another way to stop the keyboard from waking this laptop? Should there be anyone on this forum who cannot see my posting, please advise immediately

Keyboard and mouse refuses to wake laptop

The keyboard nor mouse will wake this wonderful MSI laptop. In the Power Management for the Keyboard & Mouse, both the "Allow this device to wake the computer" box is checked & yet only the Power Button wakes it up. Any suggestions to relieve this great stress?

Thanks lgentry. I have a Microsoft wired keyboard and a Logitech wireless mouse. Under Device Manager>Keyboards it lists two "HID Keyboard Device"s and the Microsoft keyboard. Unchecking the "Allow this device to wake the computer" for the two HID keyboards fixed the problem as you suggested. Weird that one must prevent "keyboards" from waking the computer to in fact prevent the mouse from waking it.

Please follow these steps:

• Press Windows Key + X and click on Device Manager.
• Expand the Keyboards and right-click/tap on your Keyboard device.
• Tap Power Management and uncheck Allow this device to wake the computer.
• Click OK and restart the computer and check the issue.
