Windows 10: How to stop microsoft from requesting parents permission for websites.

I have had a problem for a while with microsoft asking to ask a parent for permission when I want to access certain websites. I'm a 2nd year craft student at university and this is happening when I want to access artist websites and grant pages that I need for my coursework so it's a little annoying. My dad set up the account when I was younger but we haven't spoke in a number of years and I have just removed myself from his family page, but it is still asking for permission even though there is no family on there anymore. I don't want to have to make a new account as all my work and emails ar

Windows 10 Parental Permission

I recently downloaded Windows 10 and set up child accounts for my kids. I set screen times for them, but when the time runs out, they should be able to request more time from a parent. However, when the time runs out with the new update, even though it
says to request parent's permission, the only option given is to log out or switch user. The "request parent permission" button is not available. How do they request permission for extended time?

 

Inherit permission from the parent folder in Windows Server 2012R2

I understand that you want the child folder to inherit the permissions from the parent folder. You can try the following steps and check if that helps:

1. Right click on the folder to which you want to provide permission.
   
2. Click on Security tab.
   
3. Click on Advanced.
   
4. Click on Enable Inheritance and.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.
   

If that doesn’t help, as you are using Windows Server 2012R2, I would suggest you to post your query in

Lifting parental control through Parental Microsoft Account.

Dear all,

I am looking into a way into disabling the parental control on a new Microsoft Surface which is set up for use by a minor as the only account/administrator on that machine.

I have disabled (given up) all parental restriction - totally letting him loose. Yet, the old setting still completely relentless and would request permission to install and set screen time etc. This is probably not a huge issue If those request more time
and request permission to install ACTUALLY WORKS... but it doesn't and it is immensely frustrating.

At this point, I am out of ideas apart from getting a new Microsoft account for that minor and pretending to be an adult. Any other thoughts?
