Windows 10: How to stop my 5G connection switching back to the slower 2G one?

Using Windows 10. I have a modem and router with two networks - one 2Ghz and the router at 5Ghz.

The 5Ghz one is obviously much faster. I want to keep that one on all the time, but every 1-2 days I notice my network has changed back to the slower one.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I know it's possible to disable the 2Ghz one. My only worry is, since I work from home, if the 5Ghz network goes down while I'm working, I want the other one to be available.

5G Network Under Maintenance; Switching to 2G Network

As shown here my adapter can use either 2G or 5G by simply choosing one then Connect, both are automatically available.

 

5G and 2G

My routerr has both 5G and 2G but my settings will only list 2G. running windows 10.

My ipad wright next to my computer lists both. What can I do to get my computer to recognize 5G ?
