Windows 10: How to stop my Laptop from copying files from my at home PC

Recently got a new Laptop with Windows 11, when booting it up originally I did not use the backup from my at home PC. Wanted to start it as new, and now all my files from my PC are on the desktop of my Laptop. Whenever I move a file to the recycle bin, it will move those same files on my PC to the recycle bin. Looking at how i stop it from mirroring the movements of files.

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

• Does this happen only when transferring large-sized files?

• Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC that may have triggered this performance issue?
