Windows 10: How to stop my PC from going into hibernation?

HelloFor the past few days now, I have been experiencing a problem with my computer where it goes into hibernation mode and I did not set it in any way to do so. After I close my laptop's lid, it normally just goes into sleep mode because that's how I have it set. It stays in sleep mode for maybe a good 6-7 hours. I don't know exactly how long it does this as this normally happens over night when I'm asleep and I haven't actually seen the computer doing it. But the next day when I go to use my computer, it is completely turned off and when I power it on, everything seems to have been loaded al

This issue can be caused by corrupted system files and incorrect Power Plan settings.

Since you have configured the Power Plan settings already and you're still experiencing the issue, try disabling hibernation on Windows 10 by following the steps below and see if the issue will persist.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin).
• On the Command Prompt window, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off.
• Press Enter.
• Once done, close the Command Prompt window.

We suggest that you try to enable hibernation on your device using the Command Prompt.

To make hibernation available, follow these steps:

• Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
• In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
• When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
• At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate on, and then press Enter.
• Type exit, and then press Enter to close the Command Prompt window.
