Windows 10: How to stop new desktop PC from syncing with laptop?

I set up a new desktop PC for the purpose of using certain programs without having to go online such as Photoshop. I was shocked to see it synced with my laptop without my giving it permission to do so. Then I noticed that it had copied everything via onedrive which I had already turned off on my laptop yrs ago. Do I have to reset it to factory settings and then do it all over again? How do I make sure it does NOT copy anything from my laptop? I want to keep them totally separate. I also noticed that I cannot access certain programs or accounts because it is a "different device."

Buying a new laptop or desktop for gaming [help]

I want to buy either a new laptop or a new desktop for gaming. I want to run games smoothly and maybe even use it for some ps2 emulation. Could someone suggest either a laptop or desktop? I heard Alienware is expensive and over-rated. I was also told Sager laptops are good for gaming. I have about $1000-$1500 to spend on a new machine. Initially I was going to get a laptop but it seems like I would be able to get a more powerful desktop for the same price or less. Please advise. Please suggest a model/brand [desktop/laptop] that I could purchase because I don't think I know enough about computers to build one from scratch.

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

If you are unable to sync your Hotmail settings on PC, I suggest you to check if the sync settings options is disabled on your PC.



Follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

  Sync your settings and select the top most search result.

  Check if Sync settings status is
  On. If not, slide the bar to On status.

  Close the window and check if the changes are effective.
