Windows 10: How to stop receiving Welcome in Windows 11 emails from *** Email address is removed for...

Every day since I installed Windows 11 on my laptop, I receive Windows 11 welcome emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and/or *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and there is no Unsubscribe option in these emails..... How is this GDPR compliant??? I want this to stop - how can I unsubscribe from these emails???In my Microsoft account - My profile -> email communication preferences it says "You are not subscribed to any communications."But still, I receive the same welcome in Windows 11 email every morning......

No emails received

Windows home version 22H2.64bit.Firefox 109.0.1.
My email address has not received a single email in 3 days,it is a hotmail.com address in Outlook,
my other email address is working ok and I usually get the same emails in both.I did send a test
email from the other to hotmail.com and it worked.Any suggestions?

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Stop receiving emails to old email address

Thank you for replying.



To stop receiving emails on the Gmail account, please open the email that you are receiving, at the bottom of the email you will find the option to unsubscribe from the email notifications. Follow the on-screen instructions to unsubscribe form the
emails.



If you are still receiving emails, I would suggest you to get in touch with Google support and they will help you with the issue.



However, to receive notification emails on your Outlook account, you can follow the same steps provided in my previous reply, click on
Manage communication permissions for your Outlook account and can select which notifications you want to receive.
