Windows 10: How to stop sync of a mouse on two laptops using the same account?

I have two laptops that I use. One is on my left, and the other is, get this, on my right. I would like to stop the sync of the mouse so I can use one left-handed, and the other right-handed. I have looked through some treads here, but I am unable to locate a personalized setting that would allow me to stop this sync.

Microsoft Account not syncing WP8.1

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

gmail accounts stopped syncing

• Been using the app for over a year. Syncing two accounts. Four days ago one account stopped syncing. NO error messages. If go into settings, accounts cannot access the account settings. This is a slow circle Insider Preview system. On this showing my work
  (20,000+ desktops) will not be recommended to migrate just yet.
