Windows 10: How to stop the Credential Manager Single Sign On from opening in browser?

I have Windows 7 with Credential Manager and I use Firefox to browse. A while ago I looked up a social media account of someone I know personally in private window and since then the Credential Manager opens up Single Sign On with said persons name as a credential to be saved whenever I try and click on certain boxes in browser, especially ones for signing in. I have tried to clear out caches, passwords, disable the CM, restart it etc and nothing worked. When I open the Credential Manager there is no saved accounts or passwords. It even opened as I was pressing enter while typing this out, eve

Unable to open credential manager in Windows 10

This issue might occur due to the Credential Manager Service.

Let’s check if the service is started or not. Follow the steps provided below:

• 
  Press Windows logo Key + R key.
  
• 
  Type services.msc.
  
• 
  In services windows, search for
  Credential Manager Service.
  
• 
  Double click on it.
  
• 
  Click on stop button and restart the computer
  

Let’s start the service again and set it to automatic.

• 
  Press Windows logo Key + R key.
  
• 
  Type services.msc.
  
• 
  In services windows, search for
  Credential Manager Service.
  
• 
  Double click on it.
  
• 
  Click on start button.
  
• 
  In the startup type change it to Automatic.
  
•
