Windows 10: How to stop unwanted apps from popping up on Windows 10?

Discus and support How to stop unwanted apps from popping up on Windows 10? in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I don't know why, but unwanted ads from some apps (I did not download them) keep popping up from the right side of the screen.     How to stop unwanted apps from popping up on Windows 10?


    I don't know why, but unwanted ads from some apps (I did not download them) keep popping up from the right side of the screen. I can't even control it on Settings. Please help me. Thanks.

    P.S. I am using Windows 10.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    unwanted pop-ups in Windows 10 (explorer edge)

    Selecting Block Pop Ups in Advanced Settings DOES NOT STOP the unwanted pop ups! Thus never happened until I downloaded Windows 10. Microsoft needs to FIX THIS HORRIBLE problem!
