Windows 10: How to stop Windoes 22H2 from downloading

Hi, My computer is not compatible with the new Windows 11 22H2 upgrade. Last year when it was initially released, I found this out the hard way by downloading and then losing audio, having my computer overheat. I ended up having to pay someone over 100 dollars to fix it as, at the time, there was no simple way to revert back. The person I paid to fix it had the update blocked, but recently, it has been downloading again. THANKFULLY I can actually revert back every time, but unfortunately, I have no way of installing other updates without continuously doing this with my computer. It is really f

How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2  

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

Do dism and sfc /scannow commands before and/or after installing it.

 

22H2 update stopped downloading

I have Windows 11 and I got the 22H2 already on my machine. I initiate the download process however it stops at the middle. It is not downloading for 2 hours now. I know that it is not working because previously if there is this kind of update it will download and install immediately.
