Windows 10: How to stop windows 10 from deleting apps

Had enough of MS now they delete your software without asking I have 9 windows 10 devices and it happens on all of them after recent updates called support no help at all also my new surface pro x won't update due to their software failure and due to extremely poor support on remote control caused me having to reload windows and everything on two separate occasions total loss of photos and documents and hours of my time what are they doing they have no right to tell me what software i can use but its amazing they never delete MS or affiliated software if they keep spying on everyone much more i think Linux is going to see a huge increase in users

Deleting contacts from Windows 10


When you say Windows Mail Live are you referring to Mail app or Windows Live Mail?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open Windows Live Mail.
• Press Ctrl + 3 using your keyboard. Right-click on the contact to delete it if it is a single contact.
• Highlight all contacts by pressing Ctrl + A.
• Click Delete located on the Ribbon bar.
• Click OK when you see the message These contacts will also be deleted from Hotmail, Messenger, and other Windows Live services.

After following the steps above, all your contacts that you have manually added to your account will be deleted however, contacts coming from third-party sites such as Facebook will not be deleted unless you remove Facebook from your account.

For Mail app:

Open People app then delete the contact.

How to stop sharing folder for windows 10?

Referring to following link, I would like to know on how to stop sharing folder for windows 10.

I cannot find Stop Sharing option on step 5.

Use these steps to stop sharing any folder on Windows 10:

1. Open Start.
   
2. Search for Computer Management and click the top result to open the experience.
   
3. Expand the Shared Folders branch from the left pane.
   
4. Click the Shares item.
   
5. Right-click the folder that you no longer want to share and the Stop Sharing option.
   

Furthermore, ADMIN$ is found to be Remote Admin under computer management.

There is no option to stop it as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop sharing and remote?

How to delete a contact from People app?

Provide us the following information to assist you better with this issue:

• Where exactly are you referring to when you say: "Is there a way to delete them permanently."?
• How exactly are you trying to delete the contact?
• Are you trying to delete an account from apps?

If you are willing to delete an account from People app, you will have to delete it in Mail app as the same will be reflected on both the apps.
