Windows 10: How to stop Windows 10 from getting drivers from internet/microsoft store/windows...

I am really frustrated. I installed clean fresh version of Windows 10, disabled driver updates everywhere I could including group policies, registry and system information dialog, disabled auto-downloading from microsoft store, but as soon as i connected to the Internet - this [censored] automatically downloaded a ton of bloatware which I don't need AT ALL.How do I prevent this [censored] from crawling to the Internet in search of drivers? I can download and install them myself, I don't f-ing need any help.Don't fearmonger me with "security", "protection" and other bs, I can handle it too.Bt

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
