Windows 10: how to stop windows 10 from installing

I don't want windows 10 on the other pc , but i think downloaded files for 10 are on it.
How do i go about stopping this..if i try to install windows 7 security updates 10 want to install .

I was never unable to stop the install, even after following all instructions provided to me. In desperation, I rebuilt my operating system to Windows 7 and plan to stay there.

I would recommend you to uninstall and reinstall that KB article and check if it works.

Open the elevate (Adminstrator) Command Prompt and type the below command and hit Enter.

wusa /uninstall /kb:3035583

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" folder
  and delete everything in that folder.
• Now, Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Command Prompt Admin.
• Type in wuauclt.exe /updatenow in the Command prompt.
• Close the Command prompt after successfully executed the command in Command prompt.

If you have spotted the hidden directory containing the downloaded W10 upgrade files you can simply delete it.
