Windows 10: How to stop Windows from automatically resuming music playback after waking from sleep and...

I'd really want to stop Windows from automatically resuming music playback after waking from sleep and connecting to a Bluetooth speaker. I think I've seen the same issue brought up but never resolved here and here. Threads are locked, so I'm starting a new one by necessity.Here's what happens:1. Spotify is on regular windows app, not the windows store one, playback is paused and I put my Windows PC to sleep,2. I wake the PC up,3. Windows connects to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones,4. Spotify resumes playback.I'm on Windows 11 Pro. This happens regardless of logging in to the account or

Device automatically resumes music playback when resuming from sleep, but I don't know how to stop it.

I'm using a surface pro 4. If I put my device to sleep or my device runs out of battery whilst streaming a video or music, as soon as I turn on my surface, it will resume playback, even without me unlocking the device.
This leads to embarrassing situations where it will start loudly playing music in completely inappropriate environments. How do I stop it from immediately resuming streaming as soon as I've turned it back on?

Is there a way to resume music playback immediately after watching a web video? I remember on WP7 (HD7) songs would automatically resume after a video concluded. Currently on my 8X I have to go back into Xbox music and find the song I was listening to
once I'm finished watching a web video.

 

Audio breaking when monitor/PC sleeps

Yes, I just want to sleep the PC. I always turn off anything playing before sleeping.

When I wake the PC my audio no longer works. I must then either shut down and restart or reinstall the audio drivers to fix it. I have tried every suggestion I have come across online.
