How to stop windows from updating when laptop is suspended on battery?

Hi, I'm sick of Windows updating laptops when they're on battery and SUSPENDED!

I disabled Wake timers on battery but this doesn't work. I've had 3 laptops since 2015 and all of them had the same problem. I use my laptop a lot on battery mode and it's very frustating when you try to use your laptop after a day kept in a backpack and SURPRISE no battery, because Windows updated when suspended.

    How to stop this?

    Thanks

    :)

Plugged in but battery does not charge

If the laptop works without the battery then charger is functioning correctly. Take a cloth with a bit of rubbing alcohol on it (or some on-the-go alcohol swabs), and clean the metal contacts that connect your battery to your laptop.

Make sure to install all Windows important updates.
