Windows 10: How to stop windows making me change my pin!!!

I know this has already been asked and answered before but none of the solutions have worked for me. Whenever I try and follow the previous solutions, either the file I need to open does not exist or a message would pop up like this: 'This snapin may not be used with this edition of Windows 10. To manage user accounts for this computer, use the User Accounts tool in the Control Panel'. I tried this but could not find any way to stop Windows from making me change my pin.I have Windows 10 Home and every 2 months-ish a message pops up telling me that my organisation requires that I change my pin.

Try the below steps to disable the PIN and check if that helps:

• Open Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Select Sign-in options.
• Look for PIN. Since you have already created a pin, you should be getting option as
  Forgot my PIN, click on that.
• Now click on Continue.
• Don’t enter the pin details and click on
  Cancel.
• Now check for the issue.

If the issue still persists, then I would suggest you to post your query in Office forum as they will be able to assist you in this regard.

Windows 10 Change password to pin

I suggest you to go through the below steps and check if it helps.

Follow these steps to set up a PIN on your Windows User Account:

• 
  Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
  
• 
  Type the word pin into the Search box, then click
  Set up PIN sign-in.
  
• 
  Find the “PIN” section and click the Add button.
  
• 
  Type in the password for your User Account, then click the
  Ok button.
  
• 
  Select and enter a 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
  
• 
  Exit the PIN setup utility.
  

From now on you’ll be able to log in to your Windows account by entering your 4 digit PIN instead of your password.



You can change your PIN at any time by following the steps below:

• 
  Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
  
• 
  Type the word pin into the Search box, then click Set up PIN sign-in.
  
• 
  Find the “PIN” section and click the Change button.
  
• 
  Enter your Windows password, then click the
  Ok button.
  
• 
  Select and enter a new 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
  
• 
  Click the Finish button.
  
• 
  Exit the PIN setup utility.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
