Windows 10: How to stop windows terminal from exiting/closing on ctrl-c?

I enjoy the Windows terminal, it is very nice. I use it for WSL and Ubuntu with bash shells. However, one big issue I have with it is ctrl-c. In standard Linux terminals, this will not exit close a terminal window which is the correct behavior. In Windows terminal, ctrl-c will exit the terminal window and close it at the command prompt which is incorrect. How can I make it where ctrl-c will not exit the terminal window in Windows terminal?

Is there a way to continue giving input after terminating process with Ctrl + C and getting exit code?

I'm using Powershell from Windows Terminal. When I run some CMD process (such as serving file on local server) and quiet with Ctrl + C, It outputs Process exited with code ****** and stops taking input after that. So I have to open new terminal tab, CD into
working directory and cont. every time. Is there a way to continue giving input after terminating process with Ctrl + C and getting exit code?

You Need To Enable Touch And Keyboard Handwriting Service On To Fix This Problem To enable Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service, follow these steps:

1. Press Win+R in combination to open the Run dialog box.
2. In the empty field of the box, type Services.msc and hit the Enter key to open the Services (Local) editor.
3. locate Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service entry under Name section.
4. Now double click it
5. Change The Startup Type To Automatic If It Not Already
6. Then Click The Start Button Then Click Ok And Close The Window
7. Now Relaunch Windows Terminal Your Problem Should Now Be Fixed
