Windows 10: How to swap between both halves of a split-screen?

    How to swap between both halves of a split-screen?


    I know how to enter split-screen mode. But once there I find it would be useful to have a hotkey to switch instantly back and forth between both halves. I looked and found a suggestion of " 'alt' + 'left- or right- arrow' ". However when I tried this it only seemed to activate an action within the application is was using, rather than acting outside of the application to switch split-screens; the application I was using was Visual Studio and by pressing that hotkey described above I only succeeded in highlighting something within the application which thing was the zoom percentage icon, or
