Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. How to sync app licenses in Windows Store :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Weather App not working windows 8.1

The apps troubleshooter wouldn't fix it on any of the machines. Tried syncing the app licenses, too. No dice. Uninstalling and reinstalling the MSN Weather App appears to have fixed it.

How to sync app licenses in Windows Store

I can't access any windows 10 installed apps or the windows store.

    Hi Tom,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Communities.

This issue could occur due to corrupt system files or if the app settings are incorrect.

Please follow the methods mentioned below:

    Method 1:

I suggest you to run App troubleshooter. The apps troubleshooter is an automated tool which we have developed to address a number of known issues that can prevent the Apps from running properly. This troubleshooter automatically
fixes some issues, including suboptimal screen resolution, incorrect security or account settings etc.

You can click on this link to download and run the app troubleshooter.

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=268423

    Method 2: Follow the steps:

Step 1: Make sure the latest updates are installed on your PC and that your antivirus program isn't preventing the app from running.

    Step 2: Sync app licenses.

If a license for an app is out of sync with the license installed on your PC, the app might stop working.

To sync your app licenses, follow these steps:

    • On the Start screen, tap or click Store to open the Windows Store.

    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click
      Settings.)

    • Tap or click App updates.

    • Tap or click Sync licenses.
If you aren't able to access Windows Store, I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache and check:

    1. On the desktop screen, press Windows key and R to open run box.

    2. Type WSReset.exe and hit
    Enter.

    3. Now restart your computer.

Please reply us on the status of the issue to assist you further.
