Windows 10: How to totally rid my laptop of OneDrive?

I downgraded my laptop back to Windows 10. All went well until I got to OneDrive settings that I don't want. My other laptop with Windows 10 doesn't make me use OneDrive. There was no unlink this PC as stated here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0. So, I uninstalled OneDrive in Windows Settings. That didn't even work. So, I deleted OneDrive from my documents. Then, my documents no longer appeared in Quick Access. I drug my documents folder into Quick Access. That did give me my documents in Quick Access. Now

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Any way to get rid of OneDrive permanently?

Can OneDrive be effectively deleted? I have absolutely no need for it. There are never problems with it on my desktops since they all run Windows 10 Pro (it has Group Policy Editor). But my laptop has Home and OneDrive keeps inserting its obnoxious self no matter what steps I take to be rid of it. Every so-called "fix" I've found has been only temporary.

I appreciate all the help with this, but some are forgetting that Onedrive for Business is totally different than the basic consumer Onedrive.

I would if it were more mainstream and supported all my CAD software.
