Windows 10: How to track laptop if it’s stolen but not turn on

So my laptop has been stolen and it hasn’t been turned on how can I track it

What brand Dell, HP, ? Dell's got their service tag number if the thief goes to the web site and dl's drivers sometimes they can track it. You would have to talk with them about that. Sorry to hear your laptop got stolen man that just suxs.....

 

Tracking a stolen laptop that is powered-off

Hi, I've recently got my newly bought laptop stolen in France (where I'm currently staying for exchange program). I've read through some posts regarding similar issues, but I just wanted to ask once more just to make sure.

Is there any way to track a laptop with the microsoft account? I know it is possible through 'find my device', but only for laptops that are powered-on. However, the stolen laptop was never turned on since the date of theft. Is is possible to track a turned-off
laptop or offline laptop?

just for your info, I have another laptop connected to same microsoft account. Could this laptop be used to find the stolen one that is powered-off? I'm desperate and ready to do anything
