Windows 10: How to Transfer one drive files to new PC?\

I have around 700Gb of files from 2 pcs shared on a single OneDrive account. OneDrive has never been able to copy all files from the pcs to the cloud so not all files are available to both pcs so some are only local files to the pc. Onedrive error reports this as due to there being too many files but space is available. It seems to be ok with office files which it is eagre to upload but many others get left behind. I am going to replace one pc with a new machine. What is the correct way to transfer the files. If i copy files form the old local pc to the new one directly then i am confident i have not lost any files. But then I am thinking one drive will treat these as new files and not be able to upload them? I can’t just set up a one drive folder on the new pc because it will take months to sync the files, and As i said onedrive has failed to upload all files to the cloud so I would lose all that data which is not good.

To transfer files from your old laptop to your new one, you can use a Universal Serial Bus (USB) flash drive or a thumb drive. Follow the steps below:

• Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port of your laptop.
  
• Wait for the laptop to detect the USB drive.
• Open a window for the files that you want to transfer and another window for the USB drive.
  
• Select the files that you want to transfer, right-click and then click on
  Cut or Copy.
  
• On the destination window, right-click and select Paste.
  
• Make sure that files are completely transferred before removing the USB flash drive.
• Insert the USB into your new laptop.
• Access the files once the USB drive is detected.
• Repeat the same procedure on how you transferred or copied the files from your old laptop to the flash drive.

Need Help Files Transfer

I have a computer running Windows XP Home Edition. That computer has two internal HDDs:

The 1st HDD is C:\ that running Windows. And it has 20GB total of capacity.
The 2nd HDD is D:\ that is empty. And it has 90GB total of capacity.

The C:\ drive is almost run out of space (full). Is there a way I can transfer everything in the C:\ drive to the D:\ drive and begin to use the D:\ drive from there on as primary drive?
Can the Windows Files Transfer feature in XP transfer everything I have in C:\ to D:\? If it cannot, then which way can I use to perform the above step?
