Windows 10: How to transfer <, > symbols from russian keyboard to English keyboard

I have an English+Russian keyboard on my laptop. I use English most of the time. Every time I want to insert "<,>" symbols I have to press Shift+the key containing"," and "<" symbolsor the key with "." and ">" symbols or have to switch to the Russian keyboard. How can I make keys that have "<,>" symbols clickable in the English keyboard?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I would suggest you to remove English UK and just have the default English US under keyboard input language and check.

Step 1:To keep English US as the default input language and to remove other installed services

a. Type Settings in the search bar and click on the setting symbol on the top right.

b. Click on Time and Languages.

c. Click on Region and Languages.

d. Under the languages tab.

e. Click and Change the language to English US.

Step 2:Use on screen keyboard to type the characters (@, “)

To use on-screen keyboard, follow the steps below.

a. Click on Start; type “On-screen” without quotes and hit Enter.

b. Now check if you’re able to get right characters.

Use English Keyboard Layout, but output Russian Language.

1. If you are using an external (English) keyboard, then you can go to
   Settings > Time & Language > Language > Click on
   Add a language.
   
2. Then, search for Russian language under
   Preferred languages, and then select Options.
   
3. Select Download from the Download language pack option.
   
4. After the language pack is installed, go back and choose a language from the
   Windows display language menu.
   
5. Restart the computer once for the changes to take effect.

The above steps will change the system language to Russian and you can use the external keyboard to type the Russian language from English keyboard.



I've tried replicating the same thing on a Touch Keyboard and using
On-Screen Keyboard, but we cannot change these settings for a Touch Keyboard or an On-Screen Keyboard. If you want to make these changes to Touch Keyboard or an On-Screen Keyboard, then I suggest you to post your feedback in

Using keyboard to type symbols

Can someone tell me how to type the symbol for the Russian Ruble using the keyboard on my laptop ?

I had a list of symbols and icons that one could write years ago but I lost it and can't find it using Google.
