Windows 10: How to transfer video from phone to DVD

I have successfully transferred MP4 videos from my phone to my Windows 10 desktop computer. Then, using Microsoft Movie Maker, I have burned the MP4 videos to DVD-R disks. But the DVDs will not play on my television DVD player. What am I doing wrong?

• Is the issue particular to the videos which are transferred from the phone?
• How are trying to play the videos? Which application are you using?
• What is the format of the videos?

We suggest you to transfer one of the videos to the different computer and check for the issue. If you face the same issue, then we suspect that videos might be corrupted or incompatible with Windows 10.

Burn pics and videos to DVD

Hi Ewan,

You can also burn pictures and videos to DVD by using the File Explorer. To get started, follow these steps:

• Insert the disc and open the File Explorer.
• Select the files that you want to burn.
• Right-click and send to DVD RW Drive (D.
• Create a disc title.
• Once you are done, click Finish burning.

If you'd prefer to use a third-party software, we suggest that you check
Windows Store for available apps that you can install.
