Windows 10: How to transfer win11 license to a new laptop that had to be replaced?

Hi. I had to return a laptop after a week due to a faulty sound card the laptop came with windows 11 that the vendor had installed. I paid for the licence and the installation. Now I have asked the vendor to ship the new one to me. I'll do the installation with the win 11 iso that I got from the Microsoft website. I have the activation code that was used at the original installation. Do I use the very same code once I have installed Win11 on the next laptop? Or do I have to "transfer" the code somehow? The vendor says that it is the same code, but that sounds weird. Furthermore, it is imposs

I am running my laptop with Windows 10 Pro version. I have issues with my laptop and want to replace it. But the item i am planning to buy is having Windows 10 home edition.

Can i use my pro license again in the new laptop.?

• how to deactivate from current laptop.
• IHow can I transfer the license to my new laptop.
• will adding this license uograde the OS to pro version.?

i bought the license. My laptop was originally loaded with win 7 and was upgraded free couple of months.

in this case, if i understand you correctly, i can transfer with below steps. Right.?

Transfer Win 10 license to a new PC

Hello,

I bought a new PC and read that I can transfer my Windows 10 license to it and I have a few questions.

Few years ago I used Win 7 Pro license to install my two PC's.

When FREE update came I upgraded both of them to Windows 10 x64 PRO.

Yesterday I assembled a new PC which will replace one of them and I want to transfer the license to it from the one it is replacing.

The question is if I transfer the activation license will I lose the activation on the second PC or not?
